Description: This session will focus on outpatient post-operative opioid prescribing in the age of the opioid epidemic. Specific topics covered will include opioid risk mitigation, recommendations regarding amount of post-operative opioid to prescribe at discharge and post-operative opioid prescribing for patients with a history of chronic opioid use or substance misuse.
