In addition to receiving premier educational programming and listening to thought-provoking lectureships, attendees of the Annual Meeting have the opportunity to participate in off-site activities to rewind after a day of non-stop learning. 

Welcome Reception

Celebrate the opening of the 2019 SGO Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer with a Welcome Reception at the Hawaii Convention Center in Kamehameha 2. This is your opportunity to network with colleagues and make new connections within the subspecialty of gynecologic oncology in a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks and light appetizers will be served; the event is open to all attendees at no charge. Kids are also welcome to attend.

SGO Luau & 50th Anniversary Celebration

Attendees will be immersed in the sights and sounds of the South Pacific with an opportunity to relax and mingle with family, friends and colleagues at a traditional Hawaiian luau. This will also be a celebration of SGO’s 50th year anniversary. Kids are also welcome to attend.

SGO Social Event – Royal Hawaiian

Prepare to be amazed at one of Oahu’s oldest attractions!

The Royal Hawaiian, also known as the “Pink Palace,” opened in 1927. With its rich history and connection to Hawaiian culture, this historic Honolulu hotel is spectacularly located on the famed Waikiki Beach.  The unique ballroom flows directly to an outdoor patio—the perfect venue for SGO’s biggest party of the year. Kids are also welcome to attend.

Time to party! This indoor/outdoor event will feature music and the best dancing in gynecologic oncology – with Diamond Head and Waikiki as the spectacular backdrop.
